Chapter Mission:

The BRAZ-TESOL Curitiba chapter was founded in April 1998. It has already organized several events, including the Southern Cone Tesol Conventions in 2001, 2011 and 2019.
It holds local events throughout the year.

This year we have a whole new board and have already held a great webinar: https://youtu.be/vw8F6yUydiM

Ramon Pereira Moravski

Hi there! I'm Ramon! I have been working in the educational field for a little over 15 years. I've stepped in an out of the classroom a few times, also having worked for major publishing houses as sales representative and academic consultant. Most recently, a career shift gave me the opportunity to use the skills I had acquired during my years as a teacher, working for a Global BPO Company in the Human Capital Department as a Training Coordinator - designing training curricula and leading the best team of trainers one could ever ask. I hold the CPE, TKTs and CELTA - but my greatest achievement is to be the proud father of my cat Sunny! Being part of Braz-tesol is a way of giving back to a community that has always had major impact in my life!

Rafaela de Almeida

Hi, I?m Rafaela! I?ve been an English teacher for more than ten years. My degree in Letras was taken with pleasure together with great friends that are my dearest partners on the daily duties ?til nowadays. Plus, being in the classrooom is one of my great passions among others, such as traveling around the world and watching a good movie on a lazy weekend. I believe Braztesol is an organization of amazing teachers and inspiring people! Making part of it as the second Vice President of BT-CWB Board is my new beloved challenge. Count on me!

Gabriela Kanegae Tadano Gasparoto

Passionate ESL teacher for 15 years and I love teaching all levels and ages. I have a degree in psychology and am currently studying Letras. Proud mother of 3 little kids, who fill most of my days, but I always find some time for sewing and scrapbooking. I hold a CPE and am taking the Celt - S at the moment. I got involved with BRAZ-TESOL as a secretary in Belo Horizonte Chapter and now I'm very excited to be joining this new chapter in Curitiba!

Clarissa Growoski Feder

I have always loved learning languages (I also speak French and had Italian, Spanish and German lessons), however, I didn´t know I should have chosen to be a language teacher from the beginning. I´m a former mechanical enginner who made a career shift and became an English teacher in 2017. I´m currently studying Letras and preparing to take the CAE. I'm from Curitiba but I have lived in many different places, and after 12 years I´m back to my adored hometown! But after living in many places I now have an accent that wherever I am people can tell I´m not from that place. My husband is from BH and we have been together since 2008. In August 2019 I became a teacherpreneur, teaching private online classes for adults. I´m now the treasurer for BRAZ-TESOL chapter in Curitiba.
